Next Next Level

Three years in the making, Next Next Level is a fly on the wall documentary following the life of renowned Dutch painter Peter Riezebos, as he embarks on a multi-disciplinary “art adventure”. After living a fast paced existence as a successful artist in Shanghai, Peter moves back to Harderwijk, a quaint Dutch fishing town and his childhood home. There he decides to revisit his dormant obsession with (retro) video games and reconnect with old acquaintances in the proces. This inadvertently leads him down a path of self confrontation and ultimately, personal transformation. 100 video games and countless oil bars and spent paint brushes later, Next Next Level promises to be an art documentary like no other.
